澳洲福建鄉情聯誼會(AFA)年度新聞發佈會於7月27日在雪梨舉行。與會的有福建鄉情聯誼會會長，西悉尼大學校長榮譽顧問林錦姍女士，與Jonathan O’Dea州議員出席了發布會。
作為新南威爾士州政府排名第二的財長兼議會總管，和AFA摯友，Jonathan O’Dea 財長代表州政府為本發布會作了主旨演講, 贊揚AFA對澳中關系的重大貢獻。與會的還有何沈慧霞前上議員, 福建鄉情聯誼會董事、西悉尼大學人文學院教授，福建鄉情聯誼會教育董事齊汝盈女士，福建鄉情聯誼會董事、公司董事 KerrieTsang女士, 福建鄉情聯誼會常務副會長，悉尼建築設計公司董事黃小洪女士、福建鄉情聯誼會秘書長，福建鄉情聯誼會副會長，公司董事林巧雯女士、新任福建鄉情聯誼會副秘書長，西悉尼大學博士生導師胡宇城先生、麥考利大學語言研究中心高級研究員，福建鄉情聯誼會教育董事Bronwen Wade博士、福建鄉情聯誼會青年部總監，科技專家林斌先生、福建鄉情聯誼會副秘書長，公司董事卓凡先生，以及福建鄉情聯誼會一帶一路中澳海外人才部部長，教育專家鐘穎女士等。
The Australian Fujian Association (AFA) Annual Press Conference 2017 washeld at 12noon, 27th July, Thursday 2017, Marigold Restaurant, 683 GeorgeStreet, Sydney. AFA President Josephine Lam and Jonathan O’Dea MP were present.Representing the Government of NSW, Mr O’Dea gave a keynote speech appreciatingthe indispensable work by AFA in strengthening the Australian-Chinarelationship. Other participants include AFA Director, Helen Shum Ho,ex-Senator, NSW； AFADirector, Professor Ruyinig Qi, School of Humanity, Western Sydney University;AFA Director, Ms Kerrie Tsang, AFA Executive Vice President Ms Hong Huang; AFAVice Prsident, Esther Lam；AFA Secretary General, WSU academic Dr Jonathon Hu; AFA Director,Macquarie University senior researcher in language, Dr Bronwen Wade; Mr BinnyLin, AFA Youth Director；AFA Deputy Secretary General, Mr Van Zuo; and Chief of AFA Belt-and-RoadChina-Australia Overseas Talent Coordination Department.
會長林錦姍率主要成員首先作了2016-17年工作回顧：
1.幫助選址建立西雪梨大學福建辦事處。協調福建國際教育交流協會合作為該校提供優質生源
2.促成西雪梨大學成為全福建省的教師培訓基地。17名教師及校長將於年內赴該校教育學院接受培訓
3.接待福州市引進海外人才代表團，並成為福州市海外人才引進澳洲辦事處;還接待了福建自貿區廈門片區代表團。
4.由新任的常務副會長黃小洪牽頭，本會主要成員與工黨聯邦基建事務發言人艾巴尼斯(Anthony Albanese)在其辦事處會晤，並就本會在澳洲當地以及國際事務的計劃，取得艾巴尼斯的大力支持。
5. AFA塔斯馬尼亞分會成立儀式於2016年10月在塔斯曼尼亞州議會舉行，由塔州議會贊助、議長、州府副市長、前州長出席
6. 經過多次教育交流，包括澳洲外交部資助的哥倫布計劃，本會成為北京華文學院的澳洲合作單位
PresidentLam and key AFA executives reviewed AFA work in 2016-17:
1.Helped establish Western SydneyUniversity Fujian Office, and coordinated better WSU student recruitment withFujian International Education Exchange Association
2.Helped establish WSU as the teachertraining based for Fujian Province
3.Became the Australian Office ofFujian Oversea Recruitment; successful reception of the Delegation from XiamenFree Trade Subzone, Fujian.
4. Visited the Office of AnthonyAlbanese MP the Federal Labour Infrastructural Affairs Spokesman, and achievedMr Albaneses’ support for AFA plan for its local and international affairsactivities.
5.The opening Ceremony and PlaqueRemoval of AFA Tasmanian Office will be held on October 6, 2017
6. AFA became the Australian partner ofBeijing Chinese Language and Culture College after successful implementation ofa number of programs including the New Colombo Project, DFAT.
2017-2018工作宣告
1.介紹本會委員會新成員: 林斌先生將主管本會的青年會，指導我會近3百名青年成員；本會副會長黃小洪將擔任常務副會長；卓凡先生擔任本會副秘書長；鐘穎女士將擔任本會海外人才部長
2.福建省人社局將在本會掛牌。本會將成立一帶一路海外人才工作部以對接
3.在本會理事KerrieTsang女士的大力支持下，廣大會員的努力下，本會塔斯馬尼亞分會會址將於10月初建立
4.本會一如既地主辦僑辦夏、冬令營。2017年僑辦華裔青少年尋根西安冬令營由本會副會長林巧雯主持。詢眾要求，第二營正在組建中
5.2017年華澳文化橋梁課程將在12月進行，由福建鄉情聯誼會董事、西悉尼大學人文學院教授，福建鄉情聯誼會教育董事齊汝盈女士主持
6.2017（福建）僑批展覽將由福建省檔案館、澳洲福建鄉情聯誼會主辦，於9月在本會悉尼會館舉舉行
7.林錦姍會長與本會秘書長胡宇城博士贏得亞太經濟合作組織的研究項目。該項目旨在為各國政府提供貿易便利化的電子化政策性建議。該研究項目得到澳洲外交部、農業部的大力協作，將於2017年10月底提交給亞太經濟合作組織

3. The opening ceremonyof the premises of AFA Tasmania will be held early October.
4. Organising Qiaobansummer and winter root seeking camps, as usual. Vice-President Asther Lam hasbeen successful in forming the first 2017 Xi’an Winter camp. Due to populardemand, the second camp is underway
5. Professor Qi willpreside over the AFA sponsored Bridging and Emersion courses in Beijing ChineseLanguage and Culture College in December
6. Fujian OverseasRemittance Envelops Exhibition will be held in September at AFA Clubhouse inPetersham, NSW
7. President JosephineLam and Secretary General Dr Jonathon Hu won an APEC project for providingcross-border e-trade policy recommendation to governments. This APEC projecthas support from DFAT and ABARE, and will conclude late October
